Fondazione Terre Medicee — Attraction in Unione dei comuni della Versilia

A must. The city of Seravezza has several splendid places, all around. But surely, the Palazzo Mediceo is a monument that must be seen. Not only for its beauty, for the incredible garden realized in front of it or for the visit of the Palazzo inside. It is an essential piece of the history of the most important family of Italy. We can see that the Medici Clan was not only in Florence, but also out of the city. Seravezza has fuested many international films and troups. The marble caves remind us the Artist Michelangiolo Buonarroti and a visit to the Cervaiole querries it should come up as a natural consequence of the visit. A very actuve administration, in the years, brought the city to the general appreciation and the artistic life is walking side by side with the offer in terms of restaurants, places and beauties concentrated in a small, but very uinque and precious, town....

Magnificent. Not only because it is an extraordinary complex, with the antique villa and the front building, but also because the administration realized a splendid area, useful for every kind of event. Fairs like the famous Enolia, or the open air concerts organized by the municipality - very active and succesful -, are possible on the wide and elegant grass in front of the Villa. Now, heritage of Unesco. The Foundation host a very multifunctional place in a very unique structure: cinema and theater and exposition are all combined in this important space, wisely organized by Riccardo Pozzi and, of course, the municipality of the city...

Purtroppo la fondazione si ritrova un Direttore generale, il sig. Monaco, del tutto incompetentemente in merito a cultura e organizzazione di eventi. Nella scorsa mostra dedicata a Filadelfo Simi, per il centenario dalla sua morte, ho prestato 9 opere su circa 50 totali e mi sono state restituite da traslocatori avvinazzati che mi hanno lasciato a casa anche un’opera di altro prestatore.
