What a disappointment! Due to the COVID pandemic it was not possible to tour the small museum on our own. During the 1 hour "tour" our guide had to switch between Italian and English so effectively less than 20min actual content. The explanation were rather an interruption of our own readings of the signs than adding anything useful. It would have been much better to just walk around on our own and watch the display. The tasting was also cancelled instead two salamis of the same kind were given. During our visit there were 4 visitors in total. Read moreThe museum not only has a beautiful interior and a wonderful atmosphere, but the entire tour felt incredibly personal and welcoming. We were the only booking at the time, and even though they were preparing for a private event and the usual guide wasn't available, the PR manager went out of her way to give us a full private tour, complete with a tasting. This was incredibly thoughtful and made the experience even more special.
The explanation of the charcuterie-making process was clear and fascinating, giving real insight into the craftsmanship involved. The tasting was absolutely delicious....

The tour guide did a fantastic job of telling us about not just the overall processes involved but also the specifical local information. And then the tastings were delicious!!!
