Agriturismo Il Pianetto — Hotel in Verona

From the minute we arrived, we felt part of the family. From preparing our beautiful room, to the gift of ice cold bottle of spring water, to the wonderful conversation, it was like we had been friends for a long time. The panoramic view of the rolling countryside, vineyards, and Verona gave way to a spactular sunset. Such a relaxing place. Hedges of rosemary filled the cool air with a sweet aroma. We were so fortunate to arrive when the sweet cherries were ready to harvest. I still long for another visit to pick them again! A top 10 bucket list place I dream to stay once again. Anna was absolutely charming and gave us wonderful suggestions for restaurants, and places to see and visit around Verona and Lake Garda. Next trip will be for a week! Il Pianetto is a fantastic place to spend your vacation, up on the hills of Verona with a fantastic view over this wonderful city Anna Giulia Ederle and her team make your vacation/stay unforgettable. We stayed there for 2 weeks in total and rented one of the apartments (Il melograno) which was perfect for us (2 adults and 1 child) as far as size and comfort are concerned. The view from the garden is amazing - at day time and night time, they grow there own wines and olives which result in delicious wines and native olive oil. Also, within a short time you are in the middle of Verona with all its great spots to visit or just to pick a terrace and enjoy the wonderful Italia way of life.||We absolutely recommend Il Pianetto: to stay there as a family or just as a couple, you will have a great time there, definitely due to the great hospitality of Anna and the other ladies:)! Going to give this place 2 stars cause the view is amazing and The 3 staff people I spoke to were very friendly. But I found the walls very thin and you can hear the neighbors coughing and sneezing and talking in the apartment next door. Also as we were getting into bed we noticed small spots and it looked like dried blood. I get that it’s not their fault as they have their laundry done by another company but this was really gross . She kindly brought me new sheets. And the last thing was finding out there was a tourist tax for one night and it was like 10$ I was alone with 2 kids ( kids usually don’t pay tourist tax ) and I was not informed when I made the reservation of the tourist tax ( I am finding it odd how some places don’t charge it and others do) .
