I enjoyed this little museum. The lady at the desk spoke some English, and there were a few samples of antique porcelain. The video was great, as they brought to life images from an old platter which shows the porcelain making process. I learned a lot! The building is also fascinating- an old Stone warehouse. Read moreThis free museum is well curated. The exhibits have English descriptions and gives an excellent overview of pottery in Kyushu. Their collections are outstanding.
We stayed for an hour on a rainy day so it wasn't busy.
Every half hour the clock opens up for a little show with porcelain cogs and weighted balls.
