There's a "hidden path" from the Shrine into the park. Nice dirt trails for jogging or walking. Yes, there are foxes (^-^) & feeding stations for the Ezo squirrels. Haven't seen it in summer, but I'm anticipating birds, butterflies, & many flowers. There's little moss covered areas for a picnic, & a playground I haven't visited. Conveniently located bathrooms, but bring hand sanitizer. Small pack of tissue paper wouldn't hurt either just in case.
