Akizuki Castle Ruins — Attraction in Asakura

I think this place is more for spring where the sakura trees line the shopping streets. Ruins are not as popular as the little temples and all the shops for food, souvenirs, vintage, 2nd hand goods etc. In fact we didn't even realize we were looking at the ruins as we were too busy with the shopping and cute shops! Parking is literally everywhere if you're not afraid to drive through the people walking along the crazy narrow streets! We parked at the temple grounds at ￥500 which was the most expensive but came with blessings and prayers from the temple lady. Worth it! Get the map from the museum and follow the route. Akizuki Castle Ruins in the morning is absolutely stunning, especially when surrounded by vibrant red maple trees. 2024.12.9 福岡県朝倉市　秋月城址紅葉ピーク 15日現在はピーク過ぎのようだ思い出

9時30分から10時30分滞在　秋月城跡黒門 紅葉は朝日が当たりキラキラだった

小学校が代休で月休みとなり ゴジラわらかがし鑑賞し車で30分程の秋月へ 初めて訪れてみた 見頃な秋月紅葉スポットは

メイン駐車場からかじか茶屋 を目指し手前の橋から川の眺め 杉の馬場 の桜並木　瓦坂　城下町の店を色々を越えて

秋月中学校先の秋月城長屋門 裏御門の慰霊塔までの広場

垂裕神社鳥居　秋月城跡　黒門あたりの紅葉が見所のようだ 奥に固まってる感じ

9時から駐車場が開く少々出遅れて　外国からの観光バスが 押し寄せてきて　黒門が密に先の神社は諦めて次の機会に

歴代秋月藩主や黒田藩主 後醍醐天皇時代の武将などが祀られていて

もともと気になってた近くの秋月八幡宮に以前 祀られていたらしいので　次回併せてまたゆっくり訪れたい

春には階段に雛が並ぶ 長屋門裏は広場で レトロな秋月中学校舎も一望 レジャーシートでのんびりできそうな運動場みたいな広さ

最奥に立派な戦没者の慰霊塔があり参る 小さな鳥　ミソサザイ が巣をつくり可愛い姿が見えた こちらはまだ赤の紅葉が多かった

10時ぐらいから店が開き始めるが　#黒門茶屋 など他のお店もお土産購入の人はいたが店内は余裕な感じ 日本語は一切聞こえないけどね　店員さんもペラペラすごい 店内飲食などゆっくりするなら

9時あたりに先に黒門観光して帰りながら店散策がスムーズだ 午前中が狙い目だろう　糸島りんご飴が有名なの月月月カフェ も出来ていた

裏道に行くと昭和レトロな店も数軒あるみたいで気になる 春には紙漉き体験などもやってみたい

紅葉や桜時期は休日は駐車場入るまでに大渋滞らしい観光地すぎると人混みが苦手なので狙って行かなければ　雰囲気は素敵！ ★.....⭐︎.....★.....⭐︎.....★.....⭐︎.....★.....⭐︎.....★.....⭐︎.....★.....⭐︎.....★秋月観光駐車　秋月公営駐車場 観光案内所受付　9時から16時 駐車場自体はホムペに24時間とあるが受付があるから それは9時ってなっていて謎である朝が無難かも

秋月観光のメイン駐車場一日400円　車を停めてから受付前払い お得なおいしい八女茶販売やお土産屋さんや自販機 休憩所やトイレもあり　地図などパンフレットを手に入れよう！ 他300円の場所もあるが便利だったのでオススメ
