Biei Shrine, located in the charming town of Biei, is a peaceful shrine surrounded by nature. Known for its traditional Shinto architecture, the shrine offers a glimpse into Japan’s cultural heritage and provides a quiet retreat from the town’s scenic landscapes. Visitors can stroll through the shrine grounds, often decorated with seasonal flowers or blanketed in snow during winter, which adds to its serene atmosphere. Many people come here to pray, make wishes, or simply enjoy the tranquil setting. Biei Shrine is a lovely place to visit for those interested in local culture and beautiful surroundings.

Aside from that, if you collect goshuin and o-mikuji then don't miss visiting...

Went on a Klook tour for this and it's very eye opening. Didn't do much research for this shrine because I thought we wont be getting off the bus for this attraction but glad we did went down to have a walk around this place.

I went to google and research about this place after when I'm back and found out that "visitors that can find the heart marks hidden around the shine are said to become lucky in love. " I didn't know about this but if any of you did manage to found any heart marking please take photo and leave a review here.

Would definitely love to go again and find one...
