Came in to Biei wanting to view some of the sights like Shirogane Pond and Shikesai no Oka. Found out from a very helpful and kind tourist counter attendant that taxis are hard to come by and that there was a bus tour that would be able to get us to all the locations that we would want to go. The attendant and tour bus guide were super accommodating and even sold us the seats usually reserved for the tour guide so that our party of three could go on the bus tour, as there were not sufficient seats available without the two extra seats usually reserved for the guide.
