A logistical and accessibility disaster—especially during Star Wars Celebration

Review Body: As an accessibility attendee for Star Wars Celebration, I cannot stress enough how disorganized, confusing, and emotionally exhausting this venue was.

Makuhari Messe is massive but completely lacking in logical layout, directional signage, or properly trained staff. If you are neurodivergent, have accessibility needs, or struggle with crowds and unclear directions—avoid this venue.

I woke up at 5:30 AM and tried to attend one of the biggest panels of the weekend. I asked multiple staff members—clearly identifying myself as an accessibility attendee—for help finding the correct standby line. Each one gave me different instructions. I was redirected three different times, and by the time we realized the correct location, it was already too late.

When I asked staff to walk me to the right place or give clear confirmation, they would just vaguely point at a map with no real explanation. And when I asked if they could guide me or confirm the direction, I was literally told:

“No, sorry. Tough luck.”

That’s unacceptable.

This venue’s layout is not intuitive, and the staff clearly were not briefed or trained to assist attendees—especially those with accessibility needs. Everything felt like a maze with no reliable guidance.

Star Wars Celebration here was a complete disaster, and Makuhari Messe enabled that failure by not supporting its guests—especially those who need extra help navigating large, stressful spaces. I left in...
