Nishinohara Central Park, also nicknamed “Goko Kouen”. Great play equipment: super long slide, castle, sandpit, basketball hoops plus much much more in a very shady forested park. Dirt base (not grass).
Toilets could do with a renovation, baby-changing facilities available. Not easy to traverse the park with a stroller. Didn't see any water play area during summer, and no shortage of mosquitoes so bring lots of strong repellant.

Read moreThis park would have been great in its day. Its still a lot of fun and some of the equipment is unusual and engaging, but its old and there is a lot of broken stuff. The monkey bars have no bars, the roller slides don't slide, the dinosaur climbing net is missing some net. But the kids still love it.
