Asahigaoka Park — Attraction in Furano

We were there in Summer of 2023.

Was looking for a children's playground in the town and this was what we found. Pleasantly surprised that it's quite sizeable, had a parking spot right next to the playground.

However when we were there the toilet was closed, nearest was a Lawson minimart.

We visited the park expecting to see the view of Furano at the top in July. It was good that we could drive the car all the way to the top. But the trees were blocking the view, and we couldn't find any spot that has a clear view of the city. We stayed at the peace memorial for a picnic but had to cut it short due to a lot of mosquitoes. This could be a good place for a long walk and...

Visited in winter. It's a really nice and quiet park, we had a lot of fun in the snow. We even saw squirrels in the trees. And for other foreigners - restrooms are closed over winter! Don't be caught out, there are nearby ones in convenience...
