Quiet little cafe with a beautiful view in winter, a perfect place if you are looking to have some alone time (books available for browsing, blankets available if you are feeling cold) or having a heart to heart talk with a friend. I had the best matcha latte here (if you like a sweet matcha latte like I do), pasta and stew were superb too. The owner was so welcoming to us,she could only speak a bit of English but that didn't stop us from talking and sharing pictures of our cats 😂. No issue for us with using Google translate on their menu since it is in Japanese. Do note that food waiting time can take awhile since the place is only managed by 1 person (or at least while I was there). I will definitely be back when I visit furano again!

It was such a cozy place, hosted by a very lovely lady. She talked with us with such grace that I feel like if I were able to speak Japanese, I could be chatting with her for a long time. I wanted to take a photo with her but I am a bit shy. I also loved that there are many interesting books inside! I sneaked snapshots of some pages from the recipe book but what I love the most is Hanio's Diary. We ordered pasta with sardines and onion leeks (I forgot the exact name of the dish) but it was delicious. We had coffee drinks too. The dining experience has the warmth of a home.

Extremely satisfied with all the food! It’s so yummy and comforting for the cold weather. Pancake was a tad dry but still good, could be also coz we were too full already! The portion of the pasta was huge lucky we only ordered one for two pax to share. This is a homey joint with just one lady taking order, cooking, serving, clearing, cashier ; who’s likely the owner :) Furano feels like a quiet & quaint town.. for anyone who is a cafe lover and love good food must definitely put this on your check list 😋

Beautiful cafe tucked in picturesque setting of white blanketed of snow on the ground, roofs and trees. The interior was decorated with festive ornaments with a fire cracking fireplace which warms our hearts as we sipped our morning coffee. The large windows offer the view to the winter landscape. The food were beautifully served. As this is a small cafe ran by a lady, please be patience and take in the moment as you wait for the meals to be served

The highlight of my time in Furano. What a beautiful cafe with the most gracious owner. I could spend hours here talking with her. The soba cha latte is a must (and an original creation). So uniquely delicious, I enjoyed every sip. The beef hash rice is also great. I’d visit Furano again just to visit this cafe!

A very beautiful and quiet hidden gem... but quite easy to find if follow Google map.. best French toast, pancake, pasta and corn soup I ever had... fantastic view from the cafe during winter... so peaceful The service was excellent... the feelings was just like visiting a Japanese home...
