Kashiwa House Furano 柏ハウスフラノ — Local services in Furano

We stayed for 7 nights at Kashiwa House Premium in late December 2024. What a wonderful place. Perfect for my family of 4 (3 adults and 1 teenager). Very modern, very comfortable, well equipped and more than enough space for all. It seemed even better in real life than the photos suggested. The fully equipped kitchen and nearby large supermarkets (less than 10 minutes drive away) meant that we could cook our meals when we weren’t going out to some excellent nearby restaurants, of which, El Asador was surely our favourite. Beds were very comfortable. The full sized washing machine was easy to use and meant we never had to worry about packing enough clothes for our stay. And the bathtub was great for a relaxing soak after a day out in the snow. We booked the house almost 10 months in advance. Our host, Windy, was simply incredible. Answering all my enquiries and requests for assistance during that the long months leading up to our arrival. During our stay, we were very well supported by Jane, who was always quick to answer our replies and to see to our needs.

Definitely top of our list of places to stay when we head out to...

Very nice house, digital toilet and bathroom. Good bed and comfortable mattress. Relax with the bath. Sufficient hangers provided in bedroom and bathroom. Nice open kitchen with provision of rice, oil, salt, pepper and soy source.

And the best owner gave us lots of useful travel information. We are lucky to see the Furano firework fest just arrived the house. He has a daughter so he is very considerate for kids. And giving us valuable kids and parenting travel information, like the largest sunflower field, kids play centre.

Highly recommended and I must stay again for my next time...

From the moment we arrived at Furano station, Penguin could not have been more accommodating. Kashiwa House is in an excellent and convenient location and was clean, tidy and well provisioned. We very much enjoyed our time there and Penguin's recommendations for places to eat were all good. Any enquiries we made prior to, and during our stay, were answered promptly and helpfully. We look forward to staying again...
