We arrived here at just before sunset and spent a good hour looking around the different shops. The place is essentially a short loop of around 17 huts including one that sells coffee and drinks. You could probably walk the loop in 5-10 mins max but recommend allowing an hour to relax and have a wander into each of the huts and some time for photos. The huts themselves are very small and sell unique crafts which are a twist on what you’d normally expect from candles, metalwork, felt art, woodwork and a variety of allsorts. We bought a couple of the forest candles (made out of wax but designed to look like a log with some cute animals at the bottom) and also a peanut lying down in a basket from the peanut art shop, they were against photos being taken so I haven’t posted pics of the items we bought. The products here aren’t cheap but the artist is in the shop making the products and you can see they are highly skilled and have invested a significant amount of time so we were happy to pay the freight. Dusk was the perfect time to visit as the place transformed when darkness hit and the lights became much more vivid. We drove here with our rent a car and parking was free and super easy.

It is a magical looking place. Like a Santa's workshop or a fairyland. About 16 little wooden cottages scattered amongst a beautiful forest, linked by wooden board walks and strung with fairy lights. It's picture perfect. We even saw a squirrel hopping amongst the leaves!! Unfortunately, there wasn't much beyond the aesthetic. About half the shops were closed when we got there at 4:30 (it's open until 7:45 pm). One shop was empty. The coffee shop in the middle was closed too. The shops are also tiny inside, and with 3-4 people, they're full, and you have to wait to go in. It's very cramped. I was looking for a range of different gifts but didn't find anything suitable. I'm still glad I went. It's truly unique, but as a shopping experience, I was underwhelmed.

This place is the dream. It's a beautiful community of craftspeople working in the forest in a romantic setting. My wife and I have always wanted to create a space like this and this was perfect! Walking through the woods to the cafe and watching the stream go by is so peaceful. Meeting the woodcarvers and paper crafters and everyone else was so energizing. This place will definitely put a smile on your face and is a must go if you are in Furano. If you want the full experience, come a little later on when the string lights get lit, and you'll get the full ambience. However, it does get much busier at night, so be ready for some crowds. Don't forget to go to the woodcarvers cabin where they create wooden musicians and orchestra members. It made me so happy!

2️⃣0️⃣1️⃣9️⃣0️⃣7️⃣3️⃣1️⃣ This reminds me of some village in the middle of the woods. Hahaha at some point I thought ewoks were gonna jump me. Sorry too much movies. Anyway, I enjoyed taking my time strolling along those wooden paths going from cabin to cabin. The evening wasn't too hot nor humid so it made my walk quite pleasant. It did become a bit 'interesting' as the place becomes quieter and quieter late into the evening. There were hardly anyone around when I was here and I was wondering down all sorts of trails ... then my imagination got the better of me so I decided to head back out ;p Appreciate if you leave a LIKE if you find my comment useful. Thank you for your support.

Timber cottages hidden in the woods. Nice cosy place filled with small wooden huts, as though I was brought into a Studio Ghibli film. I would imagine it will be much prettier and magical in winter with the snow. Unfortunately, it was early summer and there was a light drizzle as we were walking. Shops sell handicrafts, sculptures, artworks etc that were cute, carefully handcrafted but were a little pricey for us. Sadly, they don’t sell any food as we were a bit hungry. Good to take a few photos of the cottages in the woods for a feel of “magic”. They were quite a few tour buses too. A hotel is nearby with a bakery, but that was closed by the time we reached.

Decoration:📷📷📷📷📷📷 Cleanliness:⛄️⛄️⛄️⛄️⛄️⛄️ Location:🚕🚕🚕 Crowd:👥️👥️ Price:❓️ I visited this place quite late Around 7pm+ You can access to this place from the hotel. Walk pass a souvenir zone and get to lower ground from the elevator. Not so crowded Definitely a place to take nice photos when it's empty. Too bad it's working time just until 830pm, so I didn't get to enter most of the shops. By the time I left, there is no more buses. The hotel staff helped me to call a taxi. My suggestion is to visit here earlier, Probably around 5pm Chill in some cafe and wait til the closing time to get good photos.
