Morinotokei — Restaurant in Furano

Conveniently located just a few steps away from Ningle Terrace. The cafe has an old school vibe that I really enjoyed, and I appreciated how clean and well-maintained it was.

While I wasn't a big fan of the coffee itself - it just didn't quite suit my tastes - I have to say that the dessert was absolutely delicious. It was the perfect way to end my visit.

If you are really, really into arts and crafts, this is the place for you but the huts are quite small. There are about 15-16 in total. In the winter time, the paths and steps are quite slippery. Do be careful. The atmosphere is romantic during the nighttime. I’d recommend it as something to do after you’ve skied for most of the day. I don’t think it’s worth it to come just to visit this...

Quite a lovely place for a reasonable price. The curry and the cream dish were about ¥1500 yen each ($10 USD). The curry was mildly spicy, and the cream dish was not overly salty. The dessert was also very pleasant and reasonably priced, although they have a limited amount per day of the one in the picture below. I very much recommend this place as an alternative to the $50 buffet...
