Mount Nokogiri is a mountain on the Bōsō Peninsula in Honshu, Japan. It’s distinguished by its saw-toothed slopes, legacies of its former life as an Edo Period quarry. The Nokogiriyama Ropeway takes visitors to the mountaintop. Along its peak, the Jigoku Nozoki observation deck offers views to Tokyo Bay and Mt. Fuji, weather permitting. On its slopes, Nihon-ji is a Zen temple featuring stone Buddhist statues.
