Today I went out aimlessly, but on the way I found an incredibly crazy place. It's a 15-minute walk from Jr Gamagori station; there's a bridge that you cross and there's an island full of charms. It's recommended to wear comfortable/non-slip shoes because there are trails with slippery rocks. Don't drink alcohol, you might get dizzy and fall. There's a beautiful sea all around, but you have to be very careful because it's dangerous. Finally, it's worth waiting for the sunset, it's a wonderful view. Then the island of Takeshima, which is a collection of shrines on top, and then you can walk around the island and get down on the island beaches. You get to the island by bridge and walk under a huge stone Torii that predates Showa and Meiji, I think.
