The Imperial soldiers fought tenaciously, and their attacks were heavy, sustained, and well organized. The U.S. forces sustained a frightful loss due to the unfamiliar terrain and well-fortified enemy positions. After countless fierce close-combat engagements and superior firepower used, the U.S. forces finally repulsed the enemy." So yeah, didn't know this site was one of the bloodiest battle site.
