Limori. The perfect bottom of the hill for beginners i think. Great ski instructor, Lewis from Hakuba Snow Sports School leading us along those gentle slopes. Came in Jan on a perfect "Japow" day with up to fresh snow on the ground and slightly strong winds which grounded the lifts in the afternoon. Free parking right beside the beginner flats and a massive canteen serving hot food and drinks. What a blast we had. Surely a yes in the box for next year visits.

This is actually my third year visiting this ski resort. I really don't have much experience with skiing or snowboarding to compare this resort to, however I've always had a good time here. As a beginner it's great, and everyone is so friendly. On top of that, there are frequent buses here, and there are on-site facilities like bathrooms, restaurants, and shops.

Plenty of slopes to keep yourself entertained. I snowboarded in Iimori for 3 days. 2 days were powder days and 1 day bluebird. The perfect combination. There are different slopes. Many beginner ones that are wide, then there are ungroomed and intermediate slopes. On a powder day this resort is amazing! Definitely recommend it.

This is the Hakuba Goryu Iimori Snow Resort. The resort and the adjacent Hakuba 47 Snow Resort are connected and can be used with the same lift ticket. The perfectly groomed slope is really nice for curving. If you come from Hakuba 47 by the Adventure slope, be aware that the slope is narrow, very steep and has moguls.

Enjoyed some good powder snow here! This is a smaller ski area within Hakuba, suitable for beginners and kids. Food in the ski center was surprisingly good at reasonable prices. There’s also a ramen noodle Eatery upstairs which was good as well. Clean washroom facilities. Small coin lockers available.
