This is a whole house where in the first floor became an "museum cafe". The host is a very kind and nice lady, she cannot speak that much Japanese but her kindness make you feel welcome even in case you don't understand Japanese. Of course shoes off in the entrance. Good for small groups of people. The price might seems high for a coffee but you have the great chance to be served with really old pottery some cups are old even more than 200 years. Plates same. While going back to the past from the future the kind will show you a great collection of real antique traditional lacquer collection from edo period! Photos allowed. If you are with a guide you have more chance to grasp some of the stories behind this house and it's beautiful collections. Highly recommended! Amico del solevante local guide in...
