比較的緩やかで、誰でも登っていけます。 中尊寺まで、始めからだと、20分くらい歩けば着きます。途中でトイレもあるので便利。 Not so steep path,so it’s easy to going up n approach to Chusonji even if you are the elderly. There is a bathroom on the way to Chusonji temple,which is free to use.

参道の前半は少し厳しい坂ですが後半は緩やかになってきます。それを抜けると中尊寺の支院が現れてきます。疲れたらお参りしながらゆっくりと景色を楽しみましょう。樹齢約400年の杉並木が圧巻です。 Nice hike up to Chusonji and 17 other temples. First half is somewhat steep so definitely wear a comfortable shoes.

Planned to visit Chusonji Temple, I did not realize that there is a ramp named Tsukimizaka which is the main road leading to Chusonji Temple. Walking up the ramp requires a bit energy and visitor there is well really for that. During the full moon month (Tsukimi in Japanese) it's...
