Here's a possible English translation of your Japanese text: "I might have messed up a bit because the weather was better the day before. I visited on January 2nd and waited about 10-15 minutes after arriving around 9:30 AM. I checked the parking lots up to the third one, but the first one, which was the closest, was already full (it seemed to have a small capacity from the top). The lift ride to the very top took about 5-10 minutes... It's quite a steep lift, so young children might be scared. However, you can see the panoramic view of the peninsula from both the front and back at the summit, so I might want to visit again when it gets a little warmer. At the top, there's a shop selling dango (sweet dumplings), a vending machine, a shrine, and a restroom. (The shop accepts PayPay, but the R company's mobile network is a bit weak.) There's a remote camera near the lift before the summit for taking commemorative photos... The staff greeted me cheerfully as soon as I got off the lift, asking if I was okay. If you're in the area, I recommend visiting on a sunny day. A more conversational and engaging version could be: "I think I missed out on the best weather by a day or two. I visited on January 2nd and waited about 10-15 minutes to get in around 9:30 AM. The closest parking lot was already full, so I ended up parking a bit farther away. The lift ride up was pretty steep and might be a little scary for young kids, but the view from the top is absolutely stunning. You can see for miles! I'll definitely have to come back when it's warmer. There's a little shop up there selling delicious dango and other snacks, plus a shrine and restrooms. And the staff are super friendly. If you're ever in the area, it's definitely worth checking out on a clear day." Note: Dango: I've kept "dango" in Japanese as it's a specific type of sweet dumpling and might not be widely known outside of Japan. R company: I've left this vague to avoid mentioning a specific mobile carrier. "Messed up a bit": This phrase is a bit casual and conveys a sense of disappointment. You can replace it with something more formal if needed. Would you like me to translate this into another language or focus on a specific part...

When we approached it, it spoke a bit of Japanese that we didn't understand and then took our picture. Like all other tourist attractions, we thought they would show us the photos on the screen and then let us decide if we wanted them printed out. However, when our chairlift reached the top, there was actually a man standing in front of us with the already printed photo of us! I was totally confused and then he took us to their office where it said 1200 yen for one photo. We had to pay for the photo that we had never examined before. In fact, this behavior is not only a complete forced consumption, but also an invasion of our privacy. I am already thinking of filing a complaint to the Japanese...
Read moreWhat a wonderful experience! We had to queue about 20-30 minutes to buy our ticket and get on the chair lift. It’s quite a quick ride up. Once you made it up, there’s a little shop and you can walk around the crater in a loop which takes about 30 minutes. I’m scared of heights but it felt fine. They also offer archery on certain days /times inside the crater. It was probaly the highlight of our time in Izu! Obviously, this activity is good only on good weather days. I’d recommend going either as soon as they open to beat the crowds, or about one our before the lift closes to see the sunset. If you have an electric bike, just cycle up to the ropeway ticket counter to save yourself the parking fees and make sure you don’t get stuck as the bus...
