One of the breathtaking scenes of Japan especially when you have a week time in Tokyo, do recommend to spend a day or two to Ito.

Once I got there by the local public bus, I quickly queued up for the ticket(tourist may overload).

Spend at least 60mins for photos and best of all is to capture it with your own eyes.

This site is definitely worth a visit. I was very impressed by the views. Walked in and around the crater. I was the first one to buy a ticket and go up when it opened at 9am. I suggest you get there early. Big lineup and busy area within the following hour. The chairlift stays very close to the ground the entire way so although you're high up it reduces the...
