Mamushi Spa is a nice little getaway to take a dip in a bath and relax. I’ve been several times, the regular public bath portion is pretty nice with a variety of outdoor baths to try. On the most recent trip, my partner and I booked a family bath. You have to call to reserve the bath, so you’ll need probably need to speak Japanese. You might be able to get a family bath upon arrival, however, so ask at reception when you arrive. I’ve seen some of the staff communicating in English, but communication is often easier in person than on the phone. Weekdays aren’t terribly busy, weekends are fairly packed with families. The family bath is a little on the small side though, that would be the only slight negative, especially if you are coming with your children to share a bath. The key system is good, no coin lockers instead you give your shoe locker key in at reception and get given a locker key for the bath area. The baths are nice with two large indoor baths one with a jacuzzi and and there is also a Sauna. Clean and just right size. 7.2 - 7.4 pH level alkaline water that's therapeutic with amazing cold pool that literally heals your soreness away.
