We were gifted with a mild snowfall when driving up to Ginga Fall. One can't just visit the fall without seeing the Ryusei Fall beside it. However, to see both falls, one has to climb up a rather challenging slope behind the public bathroom. The man-made steps are occasionally interrupted by naturally carved steps. With enough grit and stamina, you will be presented with the breathtaking view of the twin falls. A should-not miss visit if you want to claim you've...

You can’t go near the waterfall. The closest you can get is across the river, at the rest stop.

You will likely spend just 5 to 10 minutes here viewing the waterfall from afar.

There is ample parking and the place is quite shady.

The waterfall is awe inspiring! Huge vertical drop. Great not worth visiting if you are...

Very easy to access via the highway, definitely worth stopping here when driving pass from Daisetsuzan to Mikuni Pass. From the car park, you can already see the falls without the need to hike. It snowed on the day that...
