Snow Resort The Cupid of Romance — Attraction in Kijimadaira

It is very disappointing that the Pioneer Chairlift is not operating , nor the Pioneer Course open to ride... for the ENTIRE 2024-25 season. I have come a long way from Australia and at considerable expense for my overseas snow holiday at Kijimadaira. I have come here for 2 weeks and even bought a season lift pass. When I arrived to collect my season pass on my first day, I was not told anything about the limited lift operation and closed courses. I was definitely not offered a refund, or even an apology. For this ski-jo to publicise and promote the 'famous' Pioneer Chairlift and course on their website as being a highlight to attract experienced skiers and snowboarders then close it down for the entire season, without valid justification, is disgraceful conduct. Then to add insult to injury, today the Pioneer chairlift was running and the course was perfectly safe but only available to a select few who were able to enjoy the best powder conditions of the season, but regular clientele and overseas...

Amazing place!!! My kids enjoyed so much (as we did)!! Its close to Nagano, there is excellent place to train with the kids with the small electric walkway and tye snow was so powder its amazing!!! Its 10 meters from the parking, you have excellent gear to rent, all sizes (my 3 years old didnt have shoes... But all of us were ok including my 5 years old kid). Top gear. Top food. From the parking lot amazing 800 meters with free sledge down to the kids area. Played there tye whole family for 4 hours and took the cable car up to the food and car home. Excellent value, amazing service (they dont know a word in english but they have amazing attitude and very helpful). There is also a ski school with sometimes english speaking staff (we didnt mind to use hand language) but alas it was fully booked....

We had the slopes and the family area to ourself the whole day since its a week day

長野自動車道 豊田飯山から20～30分とアクセスが良くスキー場の広さも広過ぎず狭過ぎずの丁度良いスキー場であり混雑もあまりないとの口コミを見てで今回初めて訪れました

今シーズンはコロナ対策でリフト券半額のためか普段は混まないスキー場も激混みでした。

ただし、ファミリーコース以外は全体的に横幅があるのでさほど人混みは気にならないですがリフト乗り場付近は混雑渋滞気味です。

食事をする場所は各ゲレンデに数ヶ所(11)に点在しているので客はバラけるおかげでお昼時でも座れました。

私達はファミリーコース下(銀嶺)で休憩・お昼をとりましが、後々ロマンスコースを滑った際、ロマンスコース沿いのお店の方が食事が美味しそうに見えました。

初心者・ファミリーオススメ度 ★★★★☆ ファミリーコースは距離も長く緩斜度なので子供や初心者には丁度良いかと思います。

雪質 ★★☆☆☆ 当日も朝から2時くらいまで雪でしたが標高のせいか？場所のせいか？ 湿雪で積もる感じの雪てはない(サラサラパウダーではない)

まとめ。

駐車場からゲレンデへのアクセスも良いし クチコミ通り広過ぎず・狭過ぎずの丁度良いスキー場かと思います。

しかし、今シーズンはリフト券半額で混み混みで失敗かも？ ただ、平日なら空いてるかもしれません。

また、来たいと問われたら？ 平日にまた、来てみたいかな？ ただ、雪質が....もう少し良ければ...

追記。

2021年3月14日(日曜日) 今シーズン2回目の木島平スキー場です。

3月に入り雪もあまり降らず暖かい日や当日朝方まで雨が降っていたこともありゲレンデコンデションは湿雪orシャバ雪と所々ブッシュが出始めてた状態でした。

しかし、晴天だった事もあり前回の降雪時より見晴らし視界も良く思った以上に楽しめました。

お客さんの数も正月に比べれば1/3適度でほどほど、それと近場のお客さんが多かったせいか？半日券で滑る人が多く午後はリフト待ちはありませんでした。

その為、前日より数多くゲレンデを滑れたので再評価。

木島平スキー場の良い所。

① コンパクトなスキー場ですが、リフト1本で中級バーン上部まで行け3本のコースを滑れる、どのコースも距離1200m位と程よい距離をリフト乗り換え無しは嬉しい。 1200以上滑りたかったら更に下部ファミリーコースまで滑ればより長く滑れる。

② 食事所が沢山あるのでお客さんが分散するので混み具合軽減される。

③ 食事所以外に野外に自販機やベンチが所々に有るのでちょっとした途中休憩で食事所に入らなくても野外で休憩出来る。

前回の初めての木島平スキー場クチコミの追記になりますが個人的評価は雪質を抜きにすればアクセスの良さゲレンデがコンパクトながら程よい距離を滑れ駐車場も近い

混雑日に合わなければ最高のスキー場だと思います。

近くに住んでいたら間違いなくシーズン券買います。 そんなスキー場です。
