霧島ホテル内にある百年杉です。ここまで真っ直ぐ育つには適切な手入れを怠ることなくお世話した結果だと思います。下から見上げる杉は幻想的で、まるで万華鏡を見ているような感じでした。 マイナスイオンたっぷりの森林浴を楽しむことが出来ます。大人の足でゆっくり散策し15分程度ですが高低差があるので、高齢の方や足腰の悪い方は麓にある東屋をおすすめします。東屋でくつろぎながら自然を感じるのは贅沢な時間でした。 温泉だけではなく森林浴まで楽しめる素敵な場所です。
