Read moreAmazing castle. Very quiet with hardly any crowds. The history was very interesting and the staff were friendly. No lift to the top however it's not a big climb and the internal stairs are nice and easy to climb plus you can take a break halfway up to view the museum floor of which there are two plus a model of the castle on the top floor where the balcony / viewing platform is. The rock garden is very peaceful and you can sit under the sade of trees or in the sun if you choose to take it in.
