It's a basic and simple hotel. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Although there was a small spider in my room that didn't bother me. Given the area surrounding the hotel though, that's not very surprising.||||The bed was your typical Japanese style bed, in that it was pretty hard. Not for everyone, but it is far from the worst as far as that goes. ||||The bathroom was a decent size with a lot of counter space where the sink is. Normal bidet toilet and a full sized tub with a shower head. There was one very unique thing about that shower head though. That was probably the finest (i.e. smallest/narrowest) streams of water I've ever experienced. It was to the point that instead of water splashing after contact with the body, it felt like mist was coming off.||||The fridge was a normal sized compact one you'd see in most hotels. It can fit bottles and small food stuffs just fine.||||The hotel is certainly on the older side, but don't let that deter you from staying here. What it lacks in modern aesthetics, it makes up for in price and convenience. The parking lot is great since there's a huge one just outside of the lobby. ||||Props to the front desk staff. I had accidentally locked myself out of the room one night (forgot to take the card key before leaving) and they helped me out with...
Read moreHotel is a tired 1960s decorated hotel. Rooms though spacious contain beds which are little more than box springs with a piece of plywood that cause back issues for anyone over 20. The air conditioning is non existent in the elevators and public bathrooms and lacks appropriate circulation in one's room. Staff speaks limited English though tries to be helpful. The putting a paid sticker on a bottle of mineral water is a bit over the top. You have no real access to the lounge area with a wonderful picture window as they use it for a restaurant overflow. They have closed one restaurant, one takes three days to reserve a table,. The buffet is nice but lacks ambience. The outside balcony serves pizza that is not appropriately cooked in the middle. The chairs in your room are frayed at the edges, there are stains on the carpet, although general...
Read moreGreat value stay in a central location. Extremely quiet with excellent views of the island. The hot springs is a nice touch with several baths, sauna and steam room. The breakfast was also one of the highlights with an extension spread of Japanese, Okinawa and western options. There's also a laundry room which had ample machines and I think we're free? Each room also came with a water jug where you can refill at stations on each floor.
My only qualm about the resort is that it is showing age. While it feels clean overall there were areas that can use a good carpet cleaning or replacing. There's a bit of a musty smell which may bother some people.
There were also activities such as yoga and massage which I didn't get to use which I may want to indulge in the future.
Parking is free but is a short walk away...
