It's a beautiful place with vast and sandy beach. Although we cannot swim here, but the ocean view and bountiful waves is beautiful. There are many souvenir shops and local snack shops that offer wider variety than the city center's (obiyamachi's) local snack shop. The shop owner gives a lot of tester (basically almost every snack has the tester) so do not worry, you can taste everything before buying the things that suit your taste bud the most. There's also an old but still a favorite aquarium to see sea creatures, the highest statue in Japan with the figure of Sakamoto Ryoma, a famous hero of Japan. There are also many events here such as whale watching so make sure to check and mark the calendar before you come! There's a tourist center so you can take the pamphlet and explore the beach in case you don't prepare...

You can get off where u ant and when you're done, just wait for the next My Gu bus that will pass by. Katsurahama is the last stop and it's so nice there. However it's not allowed to swim, only sight seeing. Our visit was so cool coz we witnessed a rainbow by the sea! The public bathroom is as usual comfortable, spacious, and clean, and the bus waiting area is also nice and spacious with proper heating (since it's...

If you are coming via My-U Bus and prefer walking down slopes than up, then you might want to drop at the museum first, visit it and make...
