市内の8つの曳山のうち2つを展示する施設。

受付の方に見学の希望をお伝えすると、練習に使う舞台や曳山の展示室をご案内していただけます。展示室は調湿管理され、美術品のように曳山が大切にされています。

思っていたものよりも、何倍も豪華絢爛な曳山。この施設に展示されている以外の曳山は、普段は解体してバラバラの状態で保管され、5月第2週に開催されるお祭りの1週前のゴールデンウィークに、町内総出で2日間程度で一気に組み立てるそう。

お祭りの様子がわかる動画も大画面で見られ、曳山上の舞台で行われる子ども歌舞伎の役者である、小3~小6のお子さんたちの歌舞伎の特訓の様子や、街の皆さんの熱の入れようにこの動画だけでも心を打たれ、実際のお祭りを是非とも見に来たくなりました。

このみよっさの外はお祭りの舞台で動画にも出てきていました。しばし立ち止まり、お祭りの光景を思い重ね、次はぜひお祭りの時に来て観覧...
