Kumagaya Arakawa Green Park — Attraction in Kumagaya

Visited during cherry Blossom season, it was insanely busy so if you intend to do this in the future then arrive early or walk here. It's one of the more famous hanami viewing sites in Japan with sakura cherry trees lining the banks of the elevated pathway. There was a live stage with some drunken people performing karaoke, expensive food stalls, some chanting and taiko drumming. It's worth visiting but when it's busy it's stupidly busy so bear...

Came for hanami here. There is a big stretch with many sakura trees and just by the side of a big river. The area lacked support for kids stroller to climb up. Also the toilets are not western and not clean too. Overall...

2025年5月半ば早朝5時過ぎ。熊谷荒川緑地のジョギングコースを走っていたら、荒川に白い鳥の姿が見え画像・動画を、投稿しました。またラグビー場に隣接する緑地には見事に育てられた大木が林立しています。土手側と荒川側、其々趣の異なる風景を比べるため、両側から撮った画像を投稿しました。皆さんも何気なく通り過ぎていたら、一度ゆっくり見てみると、なかなかの素晴らしい風景ですよ。個人的には、熊谷百景と言えましょう。

2024年梅雨空の早朝５時前。散歩中荒川の表面に奇妙な水紋を見つけました。初めは水中に何かいてアブクを出しているのかな?と思いましたがそうではない。面白い。動画を投稿しました。その中に答えが映っています。
