We visited this onsen sand bath house in the evening after a day of snowboarding and skiing. For 1,000 yen, we purchased a ticket that included a meal and access to the bath spa. Even if you don’t plan to bathe, there’s an entrance fee to enter the facility.
🍝 Meal Experience The food options are budget-friendly, with meals averaging around 700 yen. Despite the affordability, the quality is decent.
Meals are freshly prepared in the kitchen and served instantly on a tray. With the 1,000 yen ticket, we had a choice of three meal options: ramen, soba noodles, or curry rice.
☺️ Onsen Experience Upon reaching the onsen area, the facility is segregated by gender into male and female sections.
You first enter a locker area to store your belongings and undress, followed by a shower area before accessing the baths. Shampoo, body wash, hair dryers, and cotton swabs are provided, but you’ll need to bring your own towels or purchase them at the counter if necessary.
In the women’s section, there’s a small Jacuzzi, three indoor pools, a sauna, and an outdoor bath that offers beautiful views of the snow and trees. We spent about an hour enjoying the relaxing and serene environment.
🧖♀️ Post-Onsen Relaxation After exiting the bath, there’s a cosy community area where you can relax or wait for family and friends before leaving.
💧Conclusion If you’re near the ski resort, this onsen offers a perfect post-exercise healing experience, combining affordable meals and a...

Inside the changing room, you’ll find personal lockers that cost 100 yen, weighing scale, hair dryer and...
Read moreI was deeply disappointed by my experience at this establishment. Despite being in Hokkaido, a region known for welcoming tourists, I encountered clear discrimination based on my nationality. An elderly staff member treated me rudely and asked me to leave immediately after finishing my meal, even though the place was not crowded. This behavior was both unwelcoming and unprofessional, completely contrary to the hospitality Japan is known for. As a foreign visitor, I expected to be treated with respect and equality. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression, and I cannot recommend this place to...
