Indoor seating open at night: no. Outdoor seating is available in the park, but there is a sign that discourages picnics.

ここは京極町と倶知安町を結ぶ道々４７８号線の京極倶知安線沿いにある。

ふきだし公園にある「羊蹄のふきだし湧水」の名水を目当てに、訪ねてくるのが多いようだ。

羊蹄山からの湧き水であり、真狩村にも羊蹄山の伏流水が湧出されている場所もある👌。

道の駅は、２００７年(平成１９年)３月に９６番目に登録されて、５月に開駅とある。

元々は、名水プラザとして、１９９１年(平成３年)に営業されている。

見ると１９８５年(昭和６０年)に、当時の環境庁から「羊蹄のふきだし湧水」として、名水百選に選定。

また１９９６年(平成８年)には、当時の国土庁より「名水の里きょうごく」として、水の郷百選に選定されるとある👌。

さらに２００１年(平成１３年)に「京極のふきだし湧水」として北海道遺産にも選定されているのだ👌。

道の駅の右側には、数店の売店があり、さらにトイレ🚻がある。道の駅前側と、湧水を汲むことが出来る側にも、トイレ🚻や、くるまdeオスト店、他売店が営業されている。

湧水を汲むのに、焼酎の太いリットルボトルや、ポリタンク等々、色々容器のオンパレードになっている。

外国のかたには、珍しいので、カタコトの言葉で聞いてくるやら、写真📷️を撮らせて等、人気である✌️。

ここの名水を使用したコーヒーはやはり人気だ。 この湧水を年に５.６回、山側の湧水を汲みに訪ねるが、必ずここのコーヒーを頂くのだ。

駐車場は２ヶ所にもまたがっていて広い。普通車は２７１台。大型車は２５台とある。

さらにふきだし公園が隣接している。道の駅には、レストラン、売店も揃っていて、無料休憩スペースも充分あるので、飲食も可能である。

近隣には京極温泉もあり、連日地元のお客様には大好評との事だ。
