王殿の中には薬師瑠璃光如来像が 祀られています。

昭和14年（1939年）の不慮の火災から

68年が経って 平成19年に再建されたのですね😺

文化財は再建が難しいので大切に 保存にしたいものです。😸

子供の頃、一番最初に鋸山に訪れた際は、ほぼ堂宇関係は焼失して、再建に向けての看板しか無く、大仏だけの印象しかありませんが。 今や、建設中の大きなお堂も下から見てとれ、火災前の姿を徐々に取り戻しつつあるのかもしれません。
