Roadside Station Hota Elementary School — Attraction in Kyonan

One of the most beautiful Roadside Station ( michi no eki) I've stopped at. Lots of well lit parking spaces for even our motorhome. Clean and well maintained toilet facilities and a large open garden space for kids to run around and play at. The building compound is lined with a nice mix of gachapon stations, vending machines souvenir shops and cafes so theres something for everyone in the day. One of the best things for kids is a Free to Play area thats fully covered with padded mats so your children can run and slide around in a safe environment. After I got errands, I saw Navi and it was not long before I tried to get there. Because it was talked about for a while as saying that we changed the elementary school of the district and made it to the way station. But it is pretty disappointing. Unlike the elementary school I envisioned, I felt deceived. I thought that I would like to think about seeing the station on the road in another area a little more without any special features of the store which I move as a tenant. 廃校した小学校を道の駅へ リニューアルした施設です😺

2018年度日本の道の駅で ベスト8を受賞しています😺

私は廃校を上手に活用した 好例と思いました。

ただ、姿が変わり過ぎていて 元が小学校とは少々解りづらい。

一階部分は各飲食店や総合案内 二階が宿泊施設になっていました。

別棟の二階には入浴施設もあります。

お土産も充実して、とても種類が豊富。

私は昼時に一階の中華食堂に入り

海老炒飯をオーダーしましたが この炒飯の褒められる点は海老が多い点

けど、それだけです😺

味付けは正直言って 何か物足りない。

途中で味を変えるため 胡椒を多めに振りました。

炒飯ですが、刻んだチャーシューが 入っていなくお肉はハムオンリー😩

海老が多く入れたためか、他でコストを 削ったと思います。

海老炒飯の単価は900円と安く無いので 手を抜いて欲しくなかったのが本音。

＋100円出してもいいから お客さんが納得する物を出して欲しい😺
