一心行のヒマワリ畑 — Attraction in Minamiaso

This has been a favorite place of mine since childhood. I visited immediately after returning to Japan. The timing was perfect, and the sunflowers were in full bloom, so I was able to take many photos. A few years ago, when I visited, the timing was off, and everything was wilted, so I’m glad I could make up for it. Evening might be a better time for capturing the perfect photo. There are also various insects, making it a great spot for observing wildlife. There were many worker bees, and they were very cute.🐝💓🌻

白川水源のあと寄りました。

詳しく調べないで行ったので、沖縄とかのヒマワリ畑をイメージしてましたが、ちょっと違いました。 訪問した時はピーク過ぎていて少し萎れてました。が、無料だし、周りの阿蘇の山々と積乱雲とヒマワリが映えて綺麗でした。

このヒマワリ畑の横の道は、坂道で車が一台だけ通れますが一方通行ではないので、何回か鉢合わせしてる場面見ました。ロングバック大変だなーー。笑

本日の目的の一つは、一心行のヒマワリ畑を見ることだった。しかし、結論を言うと今回の台風6号の接近は、ヒマワリに多大な影響を与えていた。ここのヒマワリの多くが強風に遭い、傾いていた。残念だった。仕方がない。来年に期待しよう。それでも多くの人がここを訪れていた。思えばあんなにあった熊本市砂原町のヒマワリ畑も姿を消...
