This place is perfect for what it is. A simple couple run restaurant.
The meal is served as four courses. A simple salad with a slice of very nice cheese and a piece of the regions speciality tofu, then soup with a piece of toast, then your mains of choice with rice and soup, and finally a choice of drink with a slice of cake. Each portion is small but considering the quality and price I think itโs a bargain.
The best part is the cooking itself. Speaking as a chef the cooking here is outstanding.

The couple who runs the place accommodated the two vegans in our party with a modified mainโa delicious fried tofu dish. While the rest of the meal wasnโt a great fit (e.g. pound cake with coffee), we were extra grateful for the modification.

The place is very cozy with traditional Japanese wooden decorations and large full height glass windows facing the greenery.
