No entry tickets required. So much information and many different exhibits. Thank you for making it free to enter. Staff were all polite and helpful with a smile behind their face masks. We got there just as it opened at 0900. Ample parking but we parked at next parking and took a nice stroll thru a small forest to enjoy walking beneath such giants. We had most of the museum to ourselves as most families brought their kids to a chargeable play area. We spent a few hours walking around to learn nature, history, agriculture, animals and etc. There were a couple of small theatres to watch the videos about the forest in 4 seasons and Takachiho Kagura. So much info to have a read,look, and listen, which made us inspired. I normally take many photos but got into the showcases and completely forgot. But its worth going to be entertained for an hour or so looking at all the well done exhibits. 1st floor is a presentation of the flora and fauna of miyazaki (with some interactive exhibits, all in japanese, except for the video presentations which have english subtitles). 2nd floor is more anthropological and cultural exhibits of the peoples that live in miyazaki.
