Botagaike Park — Attraction in Miyoshi

Just an update! They have done a good job renovating the place and proud to present a new area at the back behind the forest! A lovely new playground with a water play space which will surely attract many visitors from the neighborhood. It is is still a nice, a neat and a green place with a lake in the middle, with a BBQ space(prior reservations needed) and a good playground for kids as well as a spot to feed the fish and turtles. A good place for 花見 if you want to avoid those overcrowded parks this is the place for you, they have a small adventure park for your children where they can climb, crawl, or just to get dirty, If you like birds different types of birds are seen on the trees in this park depending on the season so it's a good place for those photographers, parking is spacious enough and there is a nearby convenience store if you and your friends/family would decide to get some alcohol and get some food, just be sure to clean...

【保田ヶ池公園(ぼたがいけこうえん)】で桜の観賞目的の散策来訪です！

★無料駐車場(7:30-21:30 ※夜間施錠) ・北エリアに第1駐車場 ・西エリアに第2駐車場 ・南エリアに第3駐車場 (&南西に整備後の第4駐車場？) 今回は第1駐車場にキッチンカーが来ていて賑わっていたので、カネヨシプレイスに駐車させていただきました。

休日だったので沢山の方が桜の花を楽しみに来訪されていましたが、今年は一部を除いてもう少し先だったので残念…。 ★2024/3/22(金)〜4/14(日)は日の入り〜21:00迄のライトアップが予定

来訪日は【2024年度カヌーポロ日本代表候補選手選考会 兼 強化選手選考会】と【カヌーで水上お花見体験】が開催されていました。 曇天の中でしたが、少しだけ咲いていた桜の花を楽しみつつ、カヌーポロという競技も初めて知り、試合の様子も観られたのは良かったです！

その後、北エリアの保田ヶ池一周(約1km) →子供が楽しめそうな西・南エリア →最後は東エリアの桜を惜しんで散策完 ★こちらの公園にも彫刻が点在しています！興味ある方は是非ご覧ください。

南エリアはリニューアル後の園路整備してして間もない様子。芝生もキレイに植えられて噴水広場や遊具も新しく、整えられています。 また周辺に梅園や果樹園？が広がっており北エリアとのギャップを感じますが、逆に置き型テントやお弁当を持ってきてノンビリできそうな印象でした。 ★お弁当など忘れても北エリアの通り沿いにお弁当屋さんやコンビニ・ドラックストアがあるので調達も可能です。

西エリアにも遊具広場や木製のアスレチック広場があり、こちらもお子さんが体を使って遊ぶことができます。 ★西〜南エリアに広がる自然の中で遊べる場所や散策路は、いい時期の虫やハチ・ヘビなどにご注意を。
