Hokuen Forest Park — Attraction in Moriya

Located not far from Moriya Aeon Mall, and maybe about a 10-15 minute walk from Moriya Station, this is a nice family park on one side and a smallish wooded area/copse on the other.

The family oriented side has a play area for kids with some swings and a big jungle gym, along with a couple grass areas where some kids sports clubs practice, and you can also do your own thing. The area is surround by wooded areas where you can do a little exploring with your kids for insects, fungi and such.

Depending on which side you enter, there is either a small tree covered parking lot or the bigger central carpark which is between the two park areas. The forest area isn't exactly a forest but it is a nice little woodland/copse with a footpath so you can enjoy the surroundings. Depending on the season there can be a few midges and mosquitos flying around. It's does feel a little over cultivated though so don't expect too much from it.

子供が遊ぶ遊具はそこそこあり、ある程度は楽しめます。サッカーやキャッチボールなど、他人の迷惑にならないように気をつけるなら十分に楽しめるだけの広いスペースもあります。 正規に造られている駐車場からは少し遠いのが難点。遊具で遊ぶには、歩道として用意されていると思しき舗装路を入って、空きスペースに駐車するのが近い(本当はイ ケナイのかも知れませんが）。
