Perfect place for family and snorkeling beginners. The snorkeling spots here can be easily approached (you can simply walk to them during low tide), and the underwater ecosystem here is really amazing. You can easily find a variety of tropical fishes, like trigger fish, sergeant fish, and butterfly fish, swimming among the reefs. With some luck you might see sea eel also. The average depth of water here is around 2 meters, while during low tide the depth is less than one meter, so even kids can enjoy swimming/snorkeling here safely. However, for people come with kids should avoid entering water during high tide. The swimmers could be push to the reefs and get wounds. Therefore, it's highly recommended to wear swimming/diving suit that can cover the limbs. If you are not a fan of water activities, then you can consider to take a walk in the village. There are several interesting drink / ice stands inside. Here's also a perfect place for beach picnic. And the sunset here is really AMAZING, so don't miss it if the weather is good!

The beach is splendid, and the spot is a paradise for snorkeling. Lots of corals and beautiful, colorful fish. There is a small parking near the beach that costs 500yen. You can also rent tools for snorkeling, and I can't stress enough the need to bring water shoes ! You can't step almost anywhere bare footed because of the corals and slippery rocks. A pair of fins is also recommend as the current can be quite strong and you get washed away pretty fast. For a little money there are also showers available in the nearby beach house.

Ok place to do 20-30min walking. Early morning walking feels good since there are less people and cars around. After about 5 min of walking everything becomes dull. Nothing too exciting but relaxing. There are few restaurant cafes in the route. I heard most of them are overpriced. Northwest tip of the route has a parking lot that harges you 500yen for a parking but most of the restaurants in the route provides free parking if you eat there. You can also rent a bicycle to ride around the area.

Bisezaki is just what the doctor ordered! First full day in the area and we HAD to go in the water to beat the heat… which was 32C and humid. The water is the warmest ocean water I’ve been in. Highly recommend going during low tide so you can explore the small island connected with a lighthouse. Ended up staying 2.5 hours and could’ve easily stayed longer. Even on a Saturday, the place was not busy at all.

I almost don’t want to share this spot. It’s an absolute gem for snorkeling. Thousands of tropical fish swimming around and can be seen even from shore. It’s not overly crowded compared to other swimming/snorkeling areas. Great for kids and families. Parking fee is also only ¥500 for a whole day! The only down side is there’s no changing area, but there are paid shower areas and bathrooms.

A really amazing beech. I came here at low tide and it was still possible to snorkel in the rocky pools with the advantage that you were super close to all of the colourful fish. The water was really nice and warm and sometimes felt like I was in a bath! During low tide it's also possible to walk around the island and visit the small shrine next to the lighthouse.
