落差は15～20ｍほどだろうか、滑らかな岩の上を細い流れが滑るように落ちている。まさに名前通りの滝だ。 多分、この滝が荷担滝と共にこの滝群の中で一番見ごたえがあるのではないだろうか。 この滝は横に回り込んでみると、かなり緩やかな傾斜で落ちているのが分かる、正面からだとほとんど真直ぐに落ちているように見えるのだが。
