This area is something that you will be stopping at if you're already on the way to Nachi Falls. Part of the UNESCO World Heritage. You can't miss this especially if you're here already. It may just look like any other Shinto Shrine in the bigger cities, but in the countryside it has a different feeling to it.
There's a lot of staircases, so you'll be climbing an elevation quite often in this area. I think the general visitor can probably spend about 30-60mins here just peacefully strolling around without stopping for too long as well. Another peaceful aspect of it is a lack of crowds, you'd usually only find visitors that want to visit Nachi Falls. Lastly, when you're here you can even check out Nachi Falls from a distance too which is a beauty in its own right!
Thanks for maintaining and keeping the shrine here beautiful and clean!

Right next to the shrine is Seiganto-ji Temple, and the view of its three-story pagoda with the waterfall behind it was probably the most beautiful scene I saw in all of Japan. If you’re traveling in the Kii Peninsula, this place is a must-see. It’s more than just a tourist spot—it’s an...
