滋賀県長浜市下坂浜町86にある臨済宗の寺院です。長浜びわこ大仏は琵琶湖畔にそびえ立つ高さ28mの大仏様（平安山良疇寺）りょうちゅうじです。 1937年（昭和12年）に建立されたコンクリート製の大仏で、老朽化で1992年（平成4年）に解体されました。最初の大仏は、台座の後ろは、直ぐ琵琶湖の水が迫っていました。その後、1994年（平成6年）に現在の青銅製の長浜びわこ大仏が建立されます。県道や北陸線が通り、だいぶ内側に入っています。作者は、富山県高岡市にある高岡大仏を作った人が長浜びわこ大仏をつくられたそうです。アクセスは、長浜駅西出口から徒歩約20分田村駅出口から徒歩約26分坂田駅出口2出口から徒歩約48分
