A local friend brought us here to try the onsen. This onsen is part of a hotel, which also has a restaurant inside. The restaurant offered delicious food with a truly interesting and charming style—both in presentation and decoration. It had such a cozy and inviting atmosphere, making the meal even more enjoyable. They even have a small local produce market, which was a nice surprise!

Read moreI came to this onsen because I saw the cute pics of the dog. If you don't speak Japanese or just ignore it, the sign in front of the dog says "if you pet me, I will bite". Ask me how I know? The heart symbol on the sign is very confusing. I know it's my fault for not reading it thoroughly, but who puts an unfriendly dog at the entrance to a business??
