Located near the brick hall, this mall is a perfect one stop for groceries (Red cabbage, the first supermarket I frequented in my early days of living in Nagasaki), movie (Toho Cinemas), clothing (many stores but popular would is Uni Qlo and Gu), branded shoes, fast food and ice cream (McDonald's, Bask'n Robins my usual favourites), ATM are located on first floor (1F). Restaurants are on the fifth floor (5F) and there you'd find many steak 🥩 restaurants. If you want a little getaway with a loved one, you can take the ferris wheel 🎡 and see nearby town from elevated position. The mall has easy access by street car (Tram), taxi or bus. Let's enjoy Cocowalk!

The MIRAI NAGASAKI COCOWALK is a popular shopping complex in Nagasaki, featuring a ferris wheel on its rooftop. This ferris wheel stands at a height of 47.32 meters (ground height: 70.52 meters) and offers stunning views of the surrounding area, including the bay and Mount Inasa. To access the ferris wheel, enter through the bookstore. It operates from 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM, and you can purchase tickets from the ticket machine. The view from the top is spectacular, especially in the evening when the city lights up, making it a perfect spot for a memorable ride.

We came in 5 mins early and found people crowded before the stantions where the manager and mall employees waited diligently until exactly 10am when they open. As soon as they did they welcomed us royally with low bows. The selection at the food court was great. The mall was an amazing selection of everything and beautifully laid out. The Ferris wheel on top of the building structures outside was an engineering marvel and a spectacle.

A well decorated, art Deco shopping mall for chic shoppers. If compared with Amu Plaza and You Me, Mirai Cocowalk is probably the best, on account of both the relaxing ambiance and shops. My wife tells me she manages to find many discounted stuffs. I love the bookstore at 4/F where there are cafeteria and seats for one to lay back in. I'm not particularly into the ferris wheel, though it serves as a wonderful ornament.

A comfortable mall for local. I have just visited atomic bomb museum and took a casual walk and arrived here. With the signature observation wheel cost 300yen per adult. I dont think this mall is well known for tourist but you can find supermarket , food court and shops there suit us to spend an hr here. The bookstore with cafe is popular among local!

On Nov 24, 2018, I spotted this mall during my return tram ride after visiting the Atomic Bomb Museum as I saw a Seria sign on its outside. I finally had time to visit it on Nov 26 and liked its decor but not its escalators locations. I had no idea if the Nagasaki residents find its location convenient!
