Ouratenbo Park — Attraction in Nagasaki

"A literal few steps" above the seemingly more popular Glover Garden - kind of 100 to 200 steps or so 😁. Taking the Glover sky road elevator up to the Glover garden level, you will need to hike a bit further up to reach the slope and stairs.

Offers a magnificent 360 degrees view of Nagasaki, 2nd only to the Mount Inasa observatory in my opinion. The best thing is - it's FOC.

The climb up the stairs was made relatively easy with a cool breeze and acceptable temperature. Looking out to the city from here, you would immediately recognize how "hilly" the city is.The city appears to have carved out of the mountainsides. Small houses, buildings, cathedrals pepper the steep slopes, creating a sort of scenery out of a painting.

2020/12/17訪問 【観光所要時間】40分（グラバー園第二ゲートから往復） 【観光費用】無料 【駐車場】宿泊ホテルに留め置き 【感想】鍋冠山公園（夜景） 松が根通りからグラバースカイロード（斜行エレベーターと垂直エレベーター）経由でグラバー園第二ゲートから細い路地を通って、山の中を行きます。夜間だったので、道に迷うこともあり、往復で40分かかりました。のぼりは、階段あり、坂道ありの結構ハードな行程です。ところどころ街灯があり、道もペイントされていますので、わかりやすいと思えるのですが、道に迷いました。。。途中、民家もあるのですが、毎日の生活が大変だろうなって思います。

肝心の鍋冠山公園からの夜景ですが、途中にあるスカイロードの展望所よりはるかに良いものです。
