During our recent four-night stay at Hotel Indigo Nagasaki Glover Street, we were thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service and amenities. Front desk manager Daesan Hong is an absolute gem, he speaks excellent English and provided us with invaluable recommendations and assistance throughout our visit. He went above and beyond to make our stay a highlight of our trip. The entire staff was outstanding—welcoming, professional, and always ready to help—which truly made our stay special.

The hotel itself is beautifully designed, blending historical charm with modern comfort. Our room was spotless, with a comfortable bed, stunning decor, and an amazing view. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, making for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I especially enjoyed the generous number of pillows (four) on each bed.

One of the highlights was dining at Restaurant Cathedréclat, housed in a former cathedral with breathtaking stained-glass windows. The atmosphere was unique and elegant, and the food was simply delicious—we especially enjoyed the burger and grilled chicken, both prepared with fresh local ingredients.

The location was also great, a short walk to Oura Cathedral, Glover Garden and Nagasaki Chinatown. There's also lots of souvenir shops selling Castella as well as puddings on the same street.

While the views and design were spectacular, it was the incredible staff that truly made this hotel a great place to stay. We highly recommend Hotel Indigo Nagasaki Glover Street to anyone looking for top-notch hospitality in Nagasaki. We would love to...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Indigo Nagasaki Clover Street, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Nestled in the heart of Nagasaki, this boutique hotel perfectly combines modern design with rich local history, making for an unforgettable experience.

As soon as I entered the hotel, I was struck by the contemporary aesthetic that seamlessly incorporates local cultural elements. The interior design is chic and inviting, with thoughtful touches that reflect Nagasaki's fascinating heritage. The lobby area is spacious and comfortable, with cozy seating and art displays that set a welcoming tone.

My room was a true sanctuary. Light and airy, it featured large windows with stunning views of the surrounding area. The decor was modern, yet warm, and the bed was incredibly comfortable—perfect for resting after a day of sightseeing. I particularly appreciated the local artwork that adorned the walls, which added a unique touch. The bathroom was equally impressive, complete with high-quality toiletries and a rainfall shower that felt luxurious.

One of the standout aspects of my stay was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience, providing recommendations for local dining and attractions. Their genuine hospitality made me feel at home, which I greatly...

It’s rare to find a hotel in Japan that puts in 100% effort to serve foreign guests, but Hotel Indigo Nagasaki Glover Street is one of those exceptional places. The staff are genuinely welcoming and foreigner-friendly, and most can communicate well in English. It’s difficult to single out just one staff member for praise because the entire team was outstanding. From the Korean manager who helped organize our daughter’s birthday celebration, to the kind ladies at breakfast, the chef who prepared a special birthday plate, and the team who went the extra mile to take family photos and even surprised us with a handmade birthday card. Everyone made our stay truly memorable. The hotel itself is beautiful and blends seamlessly with the historic charm of Glover Street. Its architecture feels thoughtfully integrated into the neighborhood. While the property is relatively small (a plus in our view), the rooms are surprisingly spacious. We stayed in two connecting rooms, which was perfect for our family. Breakfast was excellent. We highly recommend the Japanese set, which felt more special and distinctive than the Western options. Overall, it was a very pleasant and heartwarming stay, made exceptional by the impeccable service and attention to detail. Highly recommended

Had two wonderful stays here in December. The staff are all wonderful and some quite charming. It’s quite a unique property and operated to a very high level. It feels higher than indigo in parts. The rooms are beautiful. As an IHG Platinum Rewards member I found the recognition was excellent. I felt really valued as a guest and the hotel treated guests as individuals- which was very noticeable from the care and interactions of the front desk staff through to the lovely restaurant staff in the evening for cocktails, at breakfast or room service. The food was Devine, both at dinner and breakfast. My only wish would be a printed English breakfast menu and access to the balconies attached to rooms (probably a safety measure). Manager Hang Dae Sun was excellent - present, welcoming and excellent team and management of the establishment. Highly visible. Makes the difference. It’s such a beautiful hotel with wonderful people working there, well managed, I look forward to returning one day we have such pleasant memories. A truly special place. Well done team. P.S. Waygu beef curry is to die for (it would probably be my last meal if I was ever asked), pair it with a glass of Champagne in the restaurant. Heaven!
