Busena Beach — Attraction in Nago

A nice beach, clear water, lifeguard on duty. For people staying at the Busena terrace resort so no real amenities around which is a big shame. I was staying at the restaurant and would have loved an ice cream or drink or even some snacks at the beach.

Off-peak it is very peaceful and a nice place to play in the water that doesn't get deeper than standing depth in the cordoned off area.

Some of these reviews need to be discarded as they refer to the temperature water and the cost of visiting when you don't stay at the hotel which is the case for nearly all the private beaches.

Lots of options of activities and lots of little crabs and...

3,300 yen charge if you're not staying at the hotel. The charge covers a deckchair and a quite small beach umbrella... and that's all ! Towels aren't even included (550 yen, seriously ?) The beach itself isn't even that good, not super clean, and there are some rocks when you walk in the water, which is very unpleasant. Also, no real amenities around if you want to have a drink or some food. Big rip-off, you can definitely find better...

I almost never make recommendations like this, but in this case it is really not worth it, so maybe this will save some people time. I really cannot recommend it. You are only allowed to stay on the beach if you pay 5500 yen for a sunbed, even if you just want to lie on the sand with your towel. There are other beaches that are free, so...
